Sanjay, a PhD in Brand Management, Marketing Communication & Consumer Behaviour, has an MBA, and modules in Brand Management & Digital Marketing from IIM, Bangalore.
He has been often featured on various news channels like CNN-News18 & NDTV with his unique insights on marketing and business.
A 9-time TEDx speaker, he’s an acclaimed Keynote speaker with a long list of assignments at prestigious national conferences, and institutions like the IITs, IIMs etc.
His daily marketing tips on Instagram have become immensely popular internationally with over 5 lac followers & over 100 million views per month.
He is currently on the Board of Studies of MIT-ADT University, Pune, Tirpude Institute of Management Education and of Nagpur University. He is also a Mentor with IIM Nagpur’s incubation center INfed.
It was way back in1987 he founded Shells Advertising Inc., one of central India’s largest advertising agency.
It was in 2009 that Shells became the first agency from the region to go overseas with its full-service branch in Dubai.
A recipient of the Vocational Excellence Award as well as the Business Leadership & Excellence Award of Rotary, his keen interest in academics and over 39 years of practical experience have made him a much in demand faculty at various Management Institutes. He has been a faculty with IMT, Nagpur, Dept. of Business Mgt, Nagpur University & guest faculty at many other institutes including Manipal University (Dubai Campus).
An active Rotarian since 1992, he became the President of the then second largest club of the District, the Rotary Club of Nagpur North, in 2002.
He led the first and only International Rotaract Exchange Team as a Team Leader to Sydney, Australia in 2002.
He was also the Team Leader of Rotary’s Group Study Exchange Team to Ohio, USA in 2006.He was again the Team Leader of a Rotary Friendship Exchange team to Minneapolis USA in 2016.
Very active socially he was the founder President of BNI Nagpur, founder President Rotary Means Business Nagpur, was the founder Chairman of the Marketing Forum of Vidarbha Industries Association, Past Chairman of the Nagpur Round Table – 83, the Past Master of Lodge Corinth, Secretary of Mahavir International and the Past President of the Advertising Agencies Association of Nagpur.
Sanjay, a Yoga exponent is a qualified Yoga instructor and is giving back to the society by conducting Free Yoga Classes with his wife at Nagpur for the past ten years. He has also authored a practical book on Yoga ‘Simple Yoga for a Healthy Life’.
